The Tarrazu Region is recognized as one of the premier coffee producing regions of Costa Rica. Coope Tarrazu is the largest & most successful coops in Costa Rica with a long history of producing consistently excellent coffee. Tarrazu produces 100% Arabica coffee with most of the coffee is shade grown at 3500 to 6500 ft with an ideal climate and soil conditions. This coop is owned by hundreds of small farmers throughout the Tarrazu area who enjoy many economic benefits from this association.
The cup has a tart citric acidity and a caramel with a creamy chocolate aftertaste.
